Travis students scored at or above the NCEA College and Career Readiness and within the top five percent in the State of Texas.
Parents/Guardians and their children who are under 4 years of age are eligible to participate in the Avance Parent-Child Education Program. The program is offered every Monday on campus in Room 25. For more information please contact Mrs. Hope Trevino at 878-2700.

Travis Elementary celebrated the campus' Recognized status with an unveiling of the T.E.A. Recognized Seale and a family picnic that included music and inflatables. CCISD School Board Members Dr. Tony Diaz and Mrs. Lucy Rubio, School Director Mrs. Thelma Cavazos, and school administrators Mr. George Lerma and Mr. Loy Aldape congratulated the students and staff for their hard work.

During Red Ribbon Week Travis students were able to get an up close and personal view of the many law enforcement agencies that work to keep our community safe from the effects of drugs. A highlight of the visit was a landing of one of the helicopters used in the fight against drugs.
